Suvarna K. works as a maid in many houses. She is married and lives with her husband and two daughters.

She is a native of Maharastra. Her husband was injured in an accident and wasn't able to work. As she used to live in a village she didn't get many job opportunities so she left her hometown and migrated to Goa along with her family in 2010 in search of job opportunities.

She had never had any jobs before this. She was just a simple housewife doing her daily chores and looking after her daughters. During her free time, she would sometimes help in the fields of her neighbors, for which she would be paid less than a daily wage worker. 

She completed her education till 9th grade but had to drop out of school because her father couldn't afford education expenses for 3 daughters... Her family got her married at a very young age but she didn't have any children for many years after marriage.

 

Now, she is the only working member in her family. She earns about 15,000 to 20,000 per month. Her earnings are enough to support her family and provide them the basic necessities like food, house rent, and education for her daughters.

She barely gets any free time as she is always working from one house to another. From early morning till late in the evening. Her tight schedule makes it impossible for her to have other hobbies but she likes listening to classical music and spend time with her family whenever she has a little bit of free time.

Her only regret is that she wasn't able to complete her education. If she was able to finish her education she would now have a better job and would be able to give her family a proper stress-free life.

She is happy with her life and wishes that her daughters can study hard, get a good job and start a family of their own.
