STORY OF HARDWORK AND DETERMINATION

Age: 31 Years

Rahul Jaiswal is a grocery shop owner, who in his early 20's left his family back in his native village in Uttar Pradesh and came to Goa with a vision and a dream of becoming something in his life. As a young boy he used to enjoy his freedom in the village and did not even have any employment during that time. His parents were upset with this kind of behaviour which further led to a big quarrel between him and his parents. In fit of rage and in desire of proving his family that he could do something, be independent on his legs he decided to leave his village and come to Goa to earn a livelihood.

As soon as he arrived Goa he began searching for a job and got employed as a waiter in one of the well known restaurants in Vasco Da Gama, he worked there for six years. Slowly his contacts flourished with locals of the town, due to which he was offered a job as a helper in a grocery shop in  Baina where he got a higher amount of salary, he left his previous job and began working as helper. His owner was kind to him and offered all sorts of necessities which he required. 

Rahul is a very honest and hardworking person, he saved money as much as he could. Now he owns two grocery stores of his own and also has one vehicle. On asking upon his family and whether he wants to go back to his village, he said that from the day he left his village he never had any contact with his family members and never went back to his village. He further added that he would like to call his family members here in Goa and show them the fruits of his hardwork.

Rahul really is an inspiration and has set an example for today's youth generation that a firm determination of fulfilling the goals and hardwork together play an important role in achievement of your desires and goals.
